You can save £120 on single Master Collection licence! How? This is the scenario...
If you wanted to upgrade your Master Collection licence from CS4 to CS5.5 now it would cost you £635 with the 20% discount. We then assume that you want to get up to the latest version (CS6) when it comes out. This will cost £476 (based on current upgrade cost)
Total cost = £635 + £476 = £1,111
Now, if you look at the price to go up by 3 versions straight (CS3-CS5.5 in this example) it comes out at £1,231 which we’re assuming will stay roughly the same when CS6 comes out. So if you were to upgrade now and then again when CS6 launches it will cost = £1,111 against £1,231 if you were to wait until the CS6 launch. Saving you £120 on a single license of Master Collection, so there are huge savings to be had when you have multiple licenses in your organization!
…and now yet another little tip to save even more – Upgrade Plan!
Now, here’s where it gets really interesting – if you’re on a TLP or CLP agreement (if you’re not on either and have multiple Adobe licenses, talk to us and we’ll be able to set you up on one), not only will all of your pricing be cheaper than the above anyway, but you also have the option to purchase the “Upgrade Plan” maintenance program. The main benefit of Upgrade Plan in this situation is that it entitles you to be on the latest version of the suite you’ve purchased it for over a period of 2 years – at usually no more than a couple of hundred pounds per Upgrade Plan. This means if you buy an upgrade to CS5.5 now and bolt on Upgrade Plan, you’ll get the next couple of versions of Creative Suite as part of the price. Can’t argue with that as a pretty huge saving – we’re talking hundreds of pounds per license of saving here!

If you’re on CS2 – now is the time!
It’s also worth mentioning that if you’re still on CS2, not only have you been missing out on some amazing features for the last few versions but this is also your last chance to have an upgrade path. Categorically, once CS6 has been announced you will not be able to upgrade. So you’ll need to upgrade right now or you’ll be stuck with the full price of a brand new suite if you want CS6.
