HALO POST PRODUCTION is one of London’s leading post facilities offering award winning picture and audio Post-Production to the Film, Television and Advertising communities. Established in 2004 by CEO John Rogerson, HALO's projects have included Outnumbered and Armstrong & Miller for Hat Trick Productions, Richard Hammond’s Invisible Worlds, Imagine and Horizon for BBC and The Bachelor King 3D for Sky 3D.
HALO POST have installed two of the new Avid Pro Tools|HDX systems in Studio 3 of their Film & TV Post-Production facility on Noel Street in Central London, making the company one of the first to offer their clients these ground-breaking new Digital Audio Workstations. John Rogerson, CEO at HALO POST commented “Having the new Pro Tools|HDX systems is especially important in our new Film Mixing suites. The 32-bit floating-point technology resolves many of the summing issues that have previously restricted the ‘in the box’ approach being fully implemented in film mixing.
The systems have been supplied and installed by London and Pinewood based Avid Reseller and workflow Integrator, MediaPros. Andy Brooks, Key Account Manager at MediaPros commented “As one of the nominated top 5 Post-Production houses in UK, HALO POST offer some of the finest facilities available, their install of the new Avid Pro Tools|HDX systems clearly demonstrate the company’s willingness to offer their clients the very best in production technologies, we are proud to have been chosen to supply these new systems to HALO POST, with whom we’ve enjoyed a long-standing relationship and are always a great pleasure to deal with”.
John Rogerson commented "Using MediaPros was a no-brainer; Andy and Yan are the ‘A’ Team – great knowledge and great support”.
HALO was nominated for the Best Post-Production facility in the 2011 Broadcast Awards and has again been nominated for the 2012 award.
